Greetings in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. 2020 is behind us and we are praying that 2021 will be a year of rebuilding and resurgence in the preaching of the gospel worldwide. Despite the pandemic and all the shutdowns worldwide, much happened in 2020. I will share some of the highlights, some of the plans for 2021, and instructions for receiving your annual donation record.
We saw some great things despite the COVID-19 pandemic and worldwide shutdowns in 2020. Fortunately for Cell Life Church International, much of our ministry is already performed in small groups or online and we are focused on serving others. The pandemic did not affect those things very much. In fact, the opportunity to serve others became much greater and many of you donated money to help us with medical camps and provide sanitization supplies for people around the world. We thank our donors so much for their financial donations and we thank all of our prayer partners for their continued prayers.
Virtual learning and working became the norm in 2020 and many conventional churches started to record and stream services on the Internet. Fortunately for Cell Life Church, we have been doing this for 8 years. We just continued doing what we do and inspiring people around the world to be the hands and feet of Jesus. Because of this the gospel of Jesus Christ is spreading in places not yet reached. We have seen more cell sites form in Kenya and Pakistan. We have seen our school grow in Zambia. We are looking at some new ministries in Malawi and India. Much of this expansion is because of the weekly videos we produce and put online. These videos are seen because people like you are liking them and sharing them on social media. Please continue to like and share our videos and resources we make available.
Along with virtual learning, we started posting the complete notes for our video teachings on the Cell Life Church International website. These notes are being downloaded by people around the world to start conversations in their own small groups or cell sites. Some conventional churches are using these as small group study materials. Again, this would not be possible without your generous financial and prayer support. Thank you!
2021 is going to see some changes. We have already changed the name for our video ministry from Cell Life Church Live to Cell Life Church TV. This will allow us to start pre-recording material and making it available without misleading people thinking it is live and violating the live streaming agreements with YouTube and Facebook. This will allow us also to start publishing a video devotional every few days.
I will be starting with a basic devotional series on the gospel of John. These will be short 3 to 5 minute devotionals published every few days on Cell Life Church TV, YouTube, and Facebook. We need your help promoting these and sharing these. When you see them, please like them, and share them. It will help them get in front of more people.
We also started some sponsorship opportunities in 2020 that we are looking at expanding. You may have noticed that there is an opportunity on our website to help support a pastor, evangelist, or missionary on a regular basis on our website. The four opportunities there now are all vetted by us and need monthly support. These are church leaders that are doing their best to preach the gospel, mentor other leaders under their care, and provide for their family. Most in nations that do not conducive to bi-vocational ministry. Please consider supporting one or more of these on a regular basis.
2021 is in front of us. Let’s make it better than 2020. The only way we can do that is by being the hands and feet of Jesus in our own neighborhoods, villages, and cities. Let’s be a shining example of God’s love all the while taking care of those who are unable and helping those in need.
For all those who donated money in 2020, you can download your annual giving statement from our website. Follow these simple instructions to download your personal annual giving statement.
If you have trouble, please let us know and we will help you. Thank you all for all you do helping us preach the gospel and mentor church leaders around the world.
