Kenya Mission Trip 2019
Pure and genuine religion in the sight of God the Father means caring for orphans and widows in their distress and refusing to let the world corrupt you. – James 1:27
This June, Pastors Brian and Ron are returning to Mumias, Kenya and bringing Pastor Kelly with them! They will be conducting a Pastors Conference, encouraging church leaders, helping orphans and widows, and providing resources for malaria and typhoid medication. They will also be preaching to area church leaders, families, and the local church.
With much anticipation, Pastor Martin Indakwa is preparing Cell Life Church Kenya for our arrival. He has requested that we bring eye glasses. Many people in the surrounding villages are experiencing headaches and other side effects from not being able to see clearly and do not have access to eye doctors.
- Rural Kenyan church leaders lack the training and the resources to lead their church.
- Malaria and typhoid have killed many people in western Kenya over the last few months.
- The streets are littered with orphans whose only source of food and clothing is the local church.
In recent months, the local church has lost several church members to malaria and typhoid. The need for clean water is great. It is our hope to assess the water situation during this trip and start working to help remedy the situation in the future.
The cost of this trip which includes travel arrangements, food for widows, orphans, and poor people, medication for distribution, and conference materials is $15,000. Would you consider helping us reach the people of Kenya?
